Rewinding TTS started as an electric motor rewinding workshop in 1992, based in Randburg. The work was straightforward in principle — strip a failed motor, rewind it to specification, test it, return it — but it demanded precision every single time. That discipline is still what the business is built on today.
Pool pump repair became a natural extension of that work, simply because a pool pump motor is, mechanically and electrically, no different from any other single-phase motor we'd already spent years rewinding. The difference is context: it runs longer hours, in a damper environment, and fails more often — which is exactly why it needed a specialist who understood the motor itself, not just how to install a replacement.
